We wrapped up our fabulous year with some candy bar awards! The kiddos walked the red carpet and posed for a pic with Ms. Cash!! Loved watching them strut their stuff! LOL

End of the Year Picnic

A few pics from our picnic at Wooly Hollow State park! The kids had a blast touring the cabin, hiking with our guide, playing on the playground, eating lunch, and having a few treats! I will miss these kiddos so much! Oh, and Ms. Cash and I are sporting our shade trees provide by the sweet kiddos. :)

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs, and more Bugs!

This is by far the kiddos favorite guest speakers! Not so much for me! Terminix came and brought some of their creepy friends with them! Pink-toed Tarantulas, Madagascar Hissing cockroaches, and scorpions... OH MY! Don't worry! The one he is holding is NOT alive! AND ... I made sure they did not leave any friends behind! YIKES!

Chicken Dance

Had to post this picture! :) The Chick-fil-A cow came to school today for our Chicken Dance Marathon!

Gettin' Outdoors and More! :)

We started our Learning Camp! We have been learning all about Nature! The fifth graders were nice enough to come out and give us a few pointers on how to explore the Nature Trail! They loved it! There a few pics of our bird watching trip also! It goes without saying that we had some trouble sneaking up on the birds with 19 first graders! LOL We saw several in the sky though! Smokey the bear made an appearance too!

Track and Field

Track and field was a big success. However, with all the excitement I got very few pictures! BOO! :( Here are the ones I did get. :) There are also a few from awards assembly. Our boys' relay team won 3rd!!

"Will You Sign My Autograph?"

The kiddos are getting their end of the year memory books signed by their friends. :) We will miss these kiddos!! They kept asking, "Will you sign my autograph?"
